According to rumors, Disney decided to start developing another remake from her classic library - this time the choice fell on the Black Cauldron.

The original cartoon was released in 1985 - it was based on a series of books “The Chronicles of Pridane” by Lloyd Alexander, in particular, we are talking about the first two of the five novels. In 2016, the studio also acquired the rights to film adaptation of this cycle.
