The fantasy TV series The Wheel of Time was released today on Amazon Prime Video. Rosamund Pike (Moiraine Damodred) plays one of the main roles in it.
The show is based on the eponymous series of literary works by writer Robert Jordan. The plot tells how three strangers come to Emond's Meadow. This is the minstrel Tom Merrilin, Lady Moiraine and her guardian Lan. The Aes Sedai Women's Order believes that there are three teenagers living there, hunted by the forces of darkness. One of them is the reincarnation of an ancient powerful personality who must save the world.
