Heute sieht man überall Weihnachtsbäume und moderne Gebäude in den Straßen der Stadt. Schnee wird erwartet, aber ich möchte ihn nicht, vor allem, weil es jetzt so schön ist und, was am wichtigsten ist, der Boden fast trocken ist.

Aujourd'hui, la ville est parée de sapins de Noël de toutes sortes, et les rues sont bordées d'immeubles plutôt modernes. On s'attend à de la neige, c'est le moins qu'on puisse dire, mais je n'en veux pas, surtout qu'il fait si beau maintenant, et surtout, le sol est presque sec.

Today, there are all sorts of Christmas trees, as well as quite modern buildings on the city streets. Snow is expected, to say the least, but I don't want it, especially since it's beautiful now, and most importantly, it's almost dry underfoot.

Сегодня разные ёлки, как и вполне современные здания на улицах города. Снег это скажем ожидаемо, но не хочется, тем более сейчас пусть красиво и главное под ногами почти сухо.
